I remembered when i just started learning makeup, Marilyn Monroe’s iconic look was 1 of  my task. I began doing my research on Marilyn Monroe. I spent days and days fascinated by her life and wondering who she really was. And then i realized i will never figure that out. I will never know, and so, i decided to leave the image of Marilyn as it was before i did my research on her. I want to remember Marilyn Monroe the way i did when i first saw the picture of her : Beautiful and Legally Sultry.

I love the way her lips are drawn, i love the way her eyes droop. I love her hair. Basically, I want to be Marilyn Monroe.

And i did, in my makeup class, the day i was supposed to submit my assignment.  It was amazing and it solidified how i feel about beauty. Beauty skills will transform the way you feel about yourself, and it will change your life. And so, i decided that i really want to be a Makeup Artist. I want to make women look and feel beautiful.

I have decided to share this quote from Marilyn Monroe because it completes the image i have of her. She was brave enough to do what she did, brave enough to achieve what she had, Whether what she did is right or wrong, we are in no position to judge.

And i think all girls should feel empowered about their lives. We only live once. and we should really give life the best shot that we can.

We can be anyone we want to be. All it takes is that little bit of stubbornness, that little bit of dreaming and that little bit of faith.
